The eucalyptus tree represents my childhood—climbing its branches—as well as the values of pioneering, ‘Conquest of the Desert,’
social solidarity, creativity, and building.
In the wake of the crisis and tragedy within Israeli society, I found myself returning to the eucalyptus,
perhaps as a symbol of values now fading.
