The large and heavy camera invites me to pause and slow down.
Black-and-white photography is minimalistic and less detailed. Working in black-and-white form and with the slow work discipline
that is dictated by the large format photography,
reveal forms and relationships between stone, tree, and sky.
Through these, I study the language and time of the site and my place within it
