Ariel Yannay is an Israeli photographer, working and living in Jaffa.
He is active both as an  artist and as a teacher and lecturer. His works have been exhibited in Israel and abroad and are part of various collections.

 

Biographical Notes


Born in Israel, 1971


1995-1999 - Department of Photography, Camera Obscura School of Art, Tel Aviv

Since 2005 - Head of the Department of Photography, Camera Obscura School of Art, Tel Aviv

2009-2014 - B.A. in Humanities, Department of History, Philosophy, and Judaic Studies, The Open University of Israel

2011 - Jury member, EMET Prize for Science, Art and Culture (first award in the field of photography)

- Co-curator (with arch. Rivka Guttman) of the exhibition "Depth of Field: Photographic Architecture," The Architect's House Gallery, Jaffa (cat.)
